Womens semifinalists

The defending champion, Croatia won the quarterfinal-match against Denmark saturday morning 2-0 and is ready for semifinal. Also Italy can prepare for semifinal. They won their quarterfinal against Spain 2-0. The two other semifinalsts will be Ukraine and Norway

Ready for main rounds

The preliminary round has now come to and end and on thursday afternoon the Main round for women is starting. The men''s team starts playing Main round on friday.

Participating nations

In the 2009 European Championship in Beach-handball in Norway 24 teams will partisipate, 12 for women and 12 for men. The Champions from 2007 Croatia (women) and Russia (men) will be present to defend their titles.
